About the event

Intent: This event is an opportunity for Year 3/4 pupils to take part in a netball festival.
Providing a positive sporting experience for pupils who may not have represented their school before.

Venue: Crompton House

Time: 3.30-5pm (arrival 3:15pm)

Brief: Children will take part in a netball festival which will be station based. It will include learning of all the basic skills of netball, passing footwork, shooting, and briefly introduce them to some of the rules of the game. They will then take part in some non competitive fixtures against other schools, using the schools games values.

Leaders will be awarding stickers/badges to the children based their honesty, respect, determination, self belief, team work, passion.

Teams: Squads of 5 – 9 children.

Scoring: School Games Values-leaders will give out values awards to children.

Other Info:

• Please ensure a member of staff from your school brings a first aid kit with them to this event.
• Try to help keep our competitions green by only using refillable water bottles.
• Please book ONE TICKET PER TEAM.
