10:30am Y3/4 boys- A team of 6 with top 4 scoring

11:30am Y5/6 girls- A team of 6 with top 4 scoring
Brief:
Our Advanced Cross Country, this event is aimed at children who are adept in running, in a running club or playing sport where running is a main skill (football, basketball, rugby, etc).
The run times will be ordered and will give runners placings as per previous years and this will determine team and individual scores for each category with each runners best 4 finishes determining their own overall score. Should this be tied after all races, their 5th best finish will be taken into account.
We have designed an alternative park run route for times when the field is flooded and unusable. This aims to minimise the number of cancellations, although heavy rain on the day may still result in cancellation. Should the park run route be in use, it is necessary for runners to wear trainers.
Teams: Squads of 6 per race. So Maximum 30 children.

- Please make sure you bring enough adults to support each team that you bring. Schools will be required to provide a marshal to cover a marshalling point, all marshalling points must be covered before the race can start. The marshal could be a parent but please have a conversation with them prior to attending.
- Please ensure a member of staff from your school brings a first aid kit with them to this event.
- Try to help keep our competitions green by only using refillable water bottles.
- Due to the parking restrictions around the park (no parking directly outside the park on Buxted Road) please ensure that runners and staff arrive in time to walk over for the race start time.
- Please book ONE TICKET PER SCHOOL. Schools may bring more than one team.
